The following study aims to review the monograph by Maria Barela Il potere apparente. Unostudio sulle associazioni non riconosciute (Milano, 2019). The work analyzes the role and powersof people who act for and on behalf of an association with no legal personality, and it alsofocuses on examining what happens when he who is acting in its interest is a subject whopresents himself as its representative without being invested with such power (the so-calledfalsus procurator). This paper highlights the merits of the work, especially the need for legalcertainty and the authority of the written law that the author Maria Barela sets at the basisof her interesting study.
