44The recent IPCC report on Earth and Climate (IPCC, 2019) revealed therole of global food system on climate change since it represents 21-37% ofgreenhouse gas total emissions including transport, packaging, processing,distribution and consumption. Rethinking the food system appears tobe an imperative for climate actions. As stated in the second SustainableDevelopment Goal of 2030 Agenda signed by 193 countries of the UnitedNations, food is a primary need and a fundamental right and it is stronglyconnected to the others goals, in particular the ones that fight climatechange.
