This essay analyses the text and its structure «at a microscopic level », revealing how it was composed, to whom it was addressed, and Walwyn’s opinion about liberty and equality. Furthermore, it focuses on the relationship between liberty and tyranny and points out how the Christian faith justifies a fight against those who hold the political, the religious and the cultural power in that historical times, i.e. a tyranny ex parte exercitii.
