This article aims to explore the concept of political theology in contemporary philosophical and theological debates. In the sense of Carl Schmitt the political theology is based on a structural correspondence between political concepts and theological concepts. From this paradigm depends the importance of "analogy" for the modern end postmodern age. In the contest of the global pluralism the contemporary political theology needs to focus on the concept of inclusiveness rather than on the concept of sovereignty. The post-secular age is an opportunity for a new relationship between political philosophy, theory of modern institutions and fundamental theology.
