In this paper we review research findings attesting the empirical value of OrganizationalCitizenship Behaviors (OCB) in the organizational setting. In particular, we examined: 1.The empirical definition of OCB; 2. The typologies of Organizational Citizenship Behaviorsthat have been proposed in the literature; 3. Their links with job performance andorganizational functioning; 4. Their major antecedents. Finally, a critical discussion of themain findings was proposed.
