The article presents a research conducted with children migrated alone in our country. Nineteen children were interviewed following the methodology suggested by the Phe­nomenological Interpretative Analysis in order to draw the life story within which their migrant project has been thought and realized. The chosen methodology is coherent with the hypothesis formulated: it is possible to individuate elements of resilience in their sto­ries that can be emphasized in the moment when an intervention has to be elaborated in the country of arrival. Two groups of children were individuated that were different with respect to their relationship to their families during the decision process of migrating. The quality of such a relationship is connected to the way they are now dealing with their projects for the future.
