The effectiveness of television news addressed to a children audience was tested. A research was carried out in order to monitor and to compare the reactions of children of two age groups, who were exposed to news produced either for an adult or for a children audience. We hypothesized that if the broadcast addressed to the children was appropriate for this type of audience, the news would be more easily and efficiently processed, in comparison with news produced for an adult audience. The results suggest that the analyzed broadcast is a good and effective communication product addressed to children.
