Iress was represented by Flavia Franzoni as a laboratory of ideas whose history began in 1980. This contribution elaborates on four central themes within the Institute’s research and scientific output, areas in which Franzoni has consistently provided invaluable intellectual and practical contributions: community work and development, socio-health planning, the public-private partnership, and supervision as a fundamental aspect of services dedicated to the care of professional communities.
