The purpose of this paper is exposing our approach in the study of environmentalconflict, and show illustrations from our research work on theconflict over the environmental restoration of the Matanza-Riachuelo RiverBasin. We will be referring to the territorial effects of the conflict and wewill seek to raise some questions to feed the debate on the metropolitanenvironmental issue.
