In this article, through the textual analysis of the titles of the all materials published over the forty years of the journal, the author highlights the topics which have animated the scientific debate of .Autonomie locali., by underlining - at the same time - changes which occurred and provoked the shift from a tool work for social workers to an important reference for the academic reflection on social policies and new models of governance of the Italian welfare. Moreover, by drawing from the texts of the all abstracts of the articles published over the last eight years of .Autonomie locali., it has been possible to provide an in-depth analysis about the topics which characterized the more .mature. stage of the Journal, as a starting point to see its recent developments.
