This article discusses the vulnerability of Italian tourism to climate change and the related adaptation measures. In Italy tourism accounts for 10% of the GDP and 13% of jobs. The tourism sector is facing new challenges represented by an increasing diversity in demand and competition, but also by the impact of climate change that will benefit some locations to the detriment of others all over the world.
