78The hypothesis examined in this paper isthat if digital technologies change, in general,but also in relation to the writing, therelationship between process and product,the school can and perhaps should reflect onthe relationship between the practices of useand production of texts. The "provisional"writings that digital technologies allow,offer educational opportunity to be fullygrasped: to make the tools used by studentsand their productions the object of studyand of comparison with the richest andmost complex productions of the tradition,in order to make the "barbarians" intoconscious writers.
