This paper aims at casting light on the first Arab-language gay magazinefrom Morocco and the Arab World. "Mithly", which in Arabic has thedouble meaning of "homo" and "like me", appeared for the first time onthe web and in print (200 copies) in Rabat on April 1st 2010. The first issue,composed of fifteen pages (fourteen in Arabic and one in French), containsarticles on different themes: reflections on politics, life and love, personalexperiences and a short story, whose integral Italian translation is offeredin Appendix.
