The "ToM Storybooks" (Blijd-Hoogewys, van Geert, Serra & Minderaa, 2008)is a Dutch test evaluating different competences involved in mental state understanding (Theory of Mind), using different measures for each component. The Italian standardization sample consists of 466 typically developing children (223 females; age: 3-8 years). The response trend grows regularly with age. The tool proved to be reliable. No differences emerged in respect of gender, presence of siblings, having a foreign parent or talking different languages at home.
