312A growing thorough explanation by cognitive neurosciences of the basic mechanisms of relevant conducts in legal fields, is profoundly changing the traditional relationship between natural sciences and legal hermeneutics. The fundamental principles of the legal concept of person (conscience, rationality, freedom, responsibility) are destined to be profoundly redefined, as never before. In fact, it is the complexity of the legal issues that requires an approach to neuroscientific progress acutely aware of the legitimate and necessary autonomy of languages. Thus it's possible to imagine cognitive neurosciences and law cooperate productively towards an accurate comprehension of the human agency.
