There is a strange war going on in Afghanistan. American soldiers fight and die to allow the Chinese to run their business and exploit undiscovered oil fields and the second largest copper reserves in the world. But in the complex military, political and economic scenario the interests of China and Afghanistan converge. The Chinese could play the role of «social stabilizers» thus helping to reinforce the fragile structure of the Afghan state.
