This article proposes to go beyond questions of consciousness to re-read the distances between humans and non-humans in relation to the philosophy of science and the philosophy of Law. This paper looks at ethnographies of the non-human, “therolinguisticsµ, as well as the opportunistic selective adaptations as tools capable of reflecting borders or, rather, margins. Demarcations of space, time, but also of rights and opportunities, in the epistemology of wildness that considers writing and states of captivity in intersections and mobility of boundaries between animal identities and the treatments for which they are intended
