In the present work, it has been tried to point out how F. de Franchis' law dictionary represents, for the scholar of law, just a monography about the problems of comparative law, with an encyclopaedic slant. The author infact, as it has pointed out in the second paragraph, has tempered the element of arbitrariness concerning the exposure of law concepts, intrinsic to the nature itself of a dictionary, both by dealing with a series of notions assembled in the same voice, reconnecting to it on the systematic plane, either by the introduction, almost costituting itself a monography, and leading the reader to the consultation of the work
