The essay contributes to describe the current socio-legal scenario, where the use of restorative justice tools is well-known in the juvenile justice, but not yet so shared in the adults one. After a description of definitions, models and origins of the restorative justice approach, the author introduces some questions about the implementation of the new law that, inter alia, establishes the introduction of public services of restorative justice.
