The most important scientific contributions in the field of the history and society of contemporary Turkey – by historians, sociologists, political scientists, anthropologists, ethnographers, and musicologists – take shape largely within the paradigm of post-Kemalism. The main thesis of this article is that the post-Kemalist paradigm has now made its course
