This article aims to analyze a case of reuse of places of worship in Italy. Specifically, it concerns a little church set in a former hospital in Bergamo, sold to a Muslim association that took part in a public auction and that would now like to transform it in a mosque. In conclusion, the main objective of this contribution is to raise some questions, related to this new phenomenon regulated by different legal disciplines, such as canon law, administrative law and civil law, pointing out the new challenges which the jurists and not only them will have to face.
