The paper analyses the current state of Legal History, reconstructing the steps of change from '60s. It focuses on the new taxonomies and spaces of narrative in order to tell a new "history", able to rethink itself and - in the awareness of its own specialty and in the rigor of its methodological system - fruitfully open to suggestions coming from comparative and global dimension.
