Over the past four decades, the Islamic Republic of Iran has tightly controlled artistic expression. This oppressive regime has imposed rigorous censorship, repression, and obstruction on various art forms, driving many artists underground. However, in recent sociopolitical movements, art has emerged as a powerful means of self-expression and cohesion among the people. The ongoing transformation within Iranian society, particularly the evolving perspectives and expectations of its youth, poses a significant threat to the regime’s leadership. While the precise timing and method of potential government change remain uncertain, the unwavering determination, resilience, and unity demonstrated by the younger generation in the face of adversity offer a beacon of hope for a future defined by freedom and equality in Iranian society
