422In the past fifty years the condition of the language sciences has changed profoundly. The cognitive sciences and the theory of embodied cognition give back to the debate themes neglected by the reflection on the language between the Nineteenth and Twentieth centuries. Specifically, it is a question of taking up the discourse opened by the glorious philosophy of the language and mind of the enlightenment, in particular French.
