The general objectives of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Nrrp) focus on strengthening active labor policies and training through reforms and investments, in particular two programmes, the «Employability Guarantee for Workers» and the ‘New Skills Plan’. These Almps reforms aim at professional reskilling and upskilling and job search support, and require the involvement of public and private stakeholders and the construction of a network of local services. The Plan in general and the ALMPs reform project in particular follow the supply-side approach to economic and social development. The considerable amount of financial resources invested in the Plan could be effective at contrasting social, gender, generational and territorial inequalities (cross-cutting priorities) as long as the economic recovery will stimulate the labor demand and the Plan implementation will be carefully managed and coordinated. In this regard, some risks are emerging in the ALMPs funding partition among Regions and in the compliance of gender active inclusion policies
