The article focuses on Aldo Moro’s political and intellectual position in Pasolini’s writings. Pasolini had a certain interest in Moro in two different periods: in 1964-65 he indicated Moro as an example of a traditional political language that slides towards more technological connotations; in 1975 (the year of Pasolini’s death) the writer investigated the relationship between Moro’s language and the position he was taking within his party, the Christian Democrats. In both cases, unlike what other authors have argued, there is no evidence that Pasolini’s attitude towards Moro was informed by politically motivated hostility
