This article examines what we learned, failed to learn or can still learn from the Covid-19 pandemic. Using a social innovation perspective to the real-life school, it examines the threats and opportunities to post-Covid-19 human development. First, it explains the social innovation perspective and how it has allowed for studying different forms of social innovation and social relation building. Next, it examines social relations that are becoming more or less tangible and are emerging, disappearing, or being magnified or minimised in these Covid-19 times. What are the threats to and opportunities for human development emerging from these social dynamics?
