The new version of Consob Regulation 18592/2013 approved at the end of 2019 regulates thephenomenon of debt crowdfunding in Italy, with which online platforms can offer bonds ordebt securities of Smes to investors. It is an alternative channel to the banking system which,hopefully, will further increase the options to financially support Italian entrepreneurship.The contribution will analyze the rules dedicated to it and its problematic aspects, all in theawareness of how the increasing use of technological tools related to finance may be able tochange the development paradigms of our Country.
