The COVID-19 pandemic will determine the increase of poverty rate, in Italy and worldwide,because of economic recession and unemployment growth. Italy has already sufferedthe increase of poverty rate during the decades 2008-2017 more than other Europeancountries. It is therefore very important to analyse the anti-poverty measures that the ItalianGovernement has established during the COVID-19 pandemic through the analysis of thetwo main decrees issued over the last monts: d.l. 18/2020 and d.l. 34/2020.
