Over the past 60 years, African countries have transitioned in key dimensionsof sustainability namely political, agro-ecological, socio-cultural andeconomic. Majority of these transitions inhibits the growth and developmentexpectations of Africans. These clearly depicts that «conventional»approach to the development of Africa has failed. It’s time to put communitiesat the heart of Africa’s future well-being and development.
