Relations between Universities and territory are the object of a growing interestand awareness for the same Universities. However, services that produce additionalincome are often privileged, while activities with a social nature risk beingresidual, because of the progressive «marketization» of universities. LifelongLearning and Certification of Competences related services can make universitiesactors in the welfare system – and in the learnfare one – strengthen their contributionto local development and their awareness of the relevance of this mission.
