Italian Food is right under our eyes but it can hardly be described. Thecontributions regarding this topic here developed focus the attention onthe scenarios within which the label "Italian food" produces meaning andbecomes a product with its own flourishing market. The millenary historythat contributes to its revenue - including narrative cues - is not a negligiblefactor in helping us to understand its fame, as long as we also considerthe almost mythopoetic uses that can be found in some considerations,even scientific ones, regarding food.
