Group decision-making and leadership are important topics of philosophical and social sciences. The way in which group decision-making happens and effects on social and political organization of human society are of considerable biopolitical interest. To understand the unique sociality of sapiens, thanks to the technology of language, it is necessary to assume a naturalistic view of biopolitics. The ethological studies of group decision-making allow to comprehend the adaptive effectiveness of ecological and linguistic rationality. Language determines sophisticated decision-making processes that contribute to Plato's error. The idea of engineering society is questioned by adopting a naturalistic biopolitical view.
