This essay responds to the commentaries on Go's "Globalizing Sociology, Turning South. Perspectival Realism and the Southern Standpoint" by Fernanda Beigel, Charles Crothers, and Weibke Keim. It responds to criticisms of essentialism, particularism and epistemic relativism in Southern theory.
