Introduction. This paper reports an earliest analysis of the educational needs declared by the students of the II level postgraduate Master (UniMoRe) “Learn to teach: Methods and tools for the clinical teaching of General Practice within the frame of Primary Care”. This analysis has been realized during didactic works. Methods. These needs have been observed using a specific descriptive sheet – which permitted to define the social and professional conditions, along with the personal data, of the interviewees – followed by a focus group. Results. By an exploratory point of view, the analysis allowed to define better the educational needs (real or ideal; aware or unaware; individual or related to groups; expressed by students, teachers and academic/ social customers) of the doctors in their different fields of work and intervention. Conclusions. The analysis could support – if enhanced and shared with all the students, teachers and academic/social customers – a planning perspective in the educational field. This feature could allow, on the one hand, to design the formative needs of individuals and groups and, on the other hand, to go back over the educational curriculum/didactic plan as well.
