49In the scientific literature there are numerous articles concerning the testing of new models of experiential learning in Medical Education. The experiential learning, indeed, is used as a method of training in continuing education in medicine and in many university courses that are intended for doctors, nurses and other health professionals. We, therefore, designed a literature review to evaluate the existing evidence about the effects of educational models based on experiential learning in university education and continuing training of health and care professionals.
