Outskirts of what? Actually the periphery has gone beyond the traditional narratives: we believe that in this contemporary urban condition periphery beyond the territorial dimension to assume a broader holistic means. There is a way of being peripheral yet to don’t take root in remote locations: a description of a city in which interstitial insecurity of the “statutes” designed unexpected geographies that make contiguous forms of exclusion with normal integration. All this tells us how we witness today the spread of a new peripherical condition where value as space, social, cultural are part of a Rome that was taken from contextual territorial processes of contraction and dispersion.
