302The article presents some considerations regarding the impact of peer tutoring methodology, by studying a project taken place in nine secondary schools of the Piceno area. Peer tutoring aims at both improving students' school performance (in particular for the students without Italian citizenship) and demolishing some psychological and social obstacles among native students and immigrant students. The exploration consists of four parts: introduction to peer tutoring (with a historical and social focus); presentation of the starting issue, research hypothesis, participants and interventions; discussion about data and hypothesis assessment; analysis efficacy of this methodology as a valid intercultural experience.
