The Dimensional Change Card Sort (DCCS; Zelazo, 2006) is a widely used task to assess Executive Function in children from three to seven years old. The child is required to classify a set of cards according to different rules. Current international literature points to the increasing interest on the potential explanatory value of DCCS (e.g. Müller, Dick, Gela, Overton e Zelazo, 2006; Müller, Zelazo, Lurye e Liebermann, 2008; Kloo, Perner, Aichhorn and Schmidhuber, 2010). In this contribution to the validation we propose: (i) the Italian translation of procedure and instruction, (ii) normative data -coming from a six hundred children sample- and (iii) relevant information regarding the relation between DCCS and other Executive Function tasks' performances.
