Donatella Di Cesare and Alessio Vaccari discuss Caterina Botti's "Prospettive femministe" ("Feminist Perspectives", 2012). The authors critically deal with Botti's approach to the 20th Century feminist debate, emphasizing the difference between "emancipatory feminism" and "radical feminism". Di Cesare focuses on the feminist tradition with the aim of highlighting its consequences for contemporary ethics. Vaccari discusses Botti's work in the perspective of redefining the moral subject, within and beyond the boundaries of the ethics of care.
