This article is based on ethnographic research carried out on the sidelines of the migratory apparatus in Canada and focuses on the strategies and practices actualized through the management of institutions. It aims to highlight and interrogate how the immigration selection process of skilled workers is carried out and to understand the effects developed and framed through the daily management of migration. By examining three fundamental relations that are at stake - with space, time, and power - it is possible to identify the diverse ways in which immigrants are subjectificated in this administrative field.
