The so-called 'net generation' uses the Internet extensively. According torecent data, the digital divide has substantially exceeded in the new generations, Inaddition, there was a wide spread of computers and smartphones that can connect tothe Internet. This has led to almost all students to have access to the web. However, thecompetence and the uses of the Internet still vary in a predictable way according to genderand type of school attended. This paper focuses on online activities that are carriedout by young students.
