Information communication technologies are a constant in everyday communicative interactions and calls for attention from social psychologists, who find themselves studying phenomena happening both in purely digital (i.e. the Internet), and in blended places, wheredigital and face to face interactions interchange continuously. In this work the authors dealwith the peculiarities and the problems connected with videorecording practices (as a wayof producing data) when studying cyberplaces and blended places, paying particular attention to the researcher's position in this process. After a critical analysis of two perspectives of analysis of videorecording practices - the invisible wall and the fluid wall ones - the authors suggest an original way to deal with such practices metaphorically expressed as the liquid walls house perspective.
