Specialized education experiencesin Architectonical Restoration, activatedwithin the Department in Architectureof RomaTre University ofRome (Master and ProfessionalMaster's degree ), are characterizedby didactics encouraging projectswhich are strongly influenced by history.In labs and classes you can learnhow to project in harmony with urbanand environmental contexts,and to restore past architecture withphilological method, in order to giveback the peculiar beauty to historicalcity centers and landscapes and inorder to give back multiple identitiesto Italian heritage. These formativeexperiences occur in very close operationwith the administration incommand of protection (particularlythe Public Administration of Romeand Lazio and the Municipal Superintendenceof Rome), with the participationof several specialized enterprises.Their aim is to offer real contributesof studies and projects (in this issuethose about the Torre dei Conti ) inorder to give back "the sense ofpast's presence to the current world"(G. Urbani), and encourage a sustainabledevelopment based on a rebirthof cultures, jobs and local economics.
