Titolo Schopenhauer è anti-schellinghiano? Periodico Rivista di filosofia Anno: 2001 - Volume: 0 - Fascicolo: 2 - Pagina iniziale: 235 - Pagina finale: 268
This paper, trying to avoid a simplistic description of Schelling's ideas in Schopenhauer's philosophy, offers a reading of the latter as a follower and, at the same time, a critic of Schelling's views on nature. On the one hand, it shows how Schopenhauer shares Schelling's methods, concepts and goals concerning philosophy of nature. On the other hand, it sheds light on the differences emerging when Schopenhauer tries to connect philosophy of nature with metaphysics. In this respect, the paper points out how Schopenhauer's reading of Kant affects his own interpretation of Schelling.
