Innovazione nelle strategie di distribuzione delle imprese del distretto del Mobile d'Arte di Bassano del Grappa (di Gianluca Toschi) - ABSTRACT: The paper emphasizes the impact of globalization on the structures of the italian industrial districts. A relevant question arises concerning the possibility of industrial districts to maintain own characteristic structures. New pervasive dynamics are transforming the economic environment in which district firms are operating. The Bassano del Grappa furniture district has suffered from an increased competitive pressure, due both to wider and deeper globalization and to a specific sector shock. This paper focuses on the evolutionary process affecting the Bassano del Grappa furniture district, its main issue being the role played by leader enterprises in the introduction of innovative organizational solutions.
