Titolo Il cittadino in Kant tra liberalismo e repubblicanesimo Periodico Filosofia politica Anno: 2003 - Volume: 17 - Fascicolo: 1 - Pagina iniziale: 109 - Pagina finale: 126
In the revival of the republican tradition an author who called himself a republican, Kant, is missing in the debate. This is partly dued to some ambivalences in his political thought, which mixes elements of both the republican and the liberal position and gives of them a peculiar interpretation. The present essay shows this ambivalence with regard to the central questions of citizenship and of the relationship of individuals and state.
