With the Iberian conquest in 16th Century, the Atlantic World was the scene of a vast interaction rather than merely a transfer of Europeans onto American shores. Our focus is upon a creation of a new human geographies resulting from the interaction between the Iberian and American worlds, and that means those developing not only westward upon the body of America but eastward upon the body of Europe. The geography, economy, society, politics and culture was changed given birth to a complex organization connecting imperial and local interests. Generalizing more broadly, we can say that between 16th to 18th century, the relation between Iberian metropolis and Ibero-american territories is best described by an informal pact of indirect rule that involved Iberian and Ibero-american estates, bureaucracy and corporations.
