This article focuses on the relationship between landscape protection and the promotion of renewable energies as constitutionnally protected interest, highlighting how the juridical need to pursue the energy transition and sustainable development has recently influenced the judicial review of landscape compatibility assessments. The idea of environmental integration, implicitly or explicity, is gaining ground in jurisprudence, questioning tradiotional assumptions on the exrcise of technical discretion and, consequently, on its judicial review.
