El patrimonio cultural es un legado intergeneracional cuya conservación puede alentarse con la participación del profesorado de los diferentes niveles educativos. Los vínculos emocionales que favorecen la relación entre personas y bienes patrimoniales se estimulan con mayor facilidad desde la educación temprana y favorecen un planteamiento inclusivo, transdisciplinar y holístico que naturaliza los aprendizajes patrimoniales. Se presentan los resultados de un estudio descriptivo a partir de los registros indexados en WoS con búsquedas independientes para los términos heritage, heritage education, perceptions y teacher training. Se profundiza en los principales modelos de investigación y enfoques de intervención didáctica para la educación patrimonial en la formación inicial del profesorado. Se identifican los focos, metodologías e instrumentos de investigación; sus líneas primordiales y el uso de estrategias pedagógicas, diseños didácticos y tecnologías digitales asociadas. La investigación concluye que es el ámbito hispanoamericano, y más claramente el español, el más interesado por la educación patrimonial y la formación del profesorado.Cultural heritage is an intergenerational legacy whose conservation can be encouraged with the participation of teachers at different educational levels. The emotional links that favour the relationship between people and heritage assets are more easily stimulated from early education and favour an inclusive, transdisciplinary and holistic approach that naturalizes heritage learning. We present the results of a descriptive study based on records indexed in WoS with independent searches for the terms heritage, heritage education, perceptions and teacher training. It delves into the main research models and didactic intervention approaches for heritage education in initial teacher training. Research focuses, methodologies and instruments are identified; their main lines and the use of pedagogical strategies, didactic designs and associated digital technologies. The research concludes that the Spanish-speaking world, and more clearly the Spanish one, is the most interested in heritage education and teacher training.
